They would still be in business if Democrat Elizabeth Warren had not blocked the merger and called it a win.
It was a combination of that and oil prices. Spirit blamed it on the cost of oil, not on Warren.

It might be a good thing longterm. Spirit was an awful airline.
I don’t think it’s a good thing, even though I made a point of never flying them. They brought downward pressure on flight pricing.
They definitely did. Apparently, they should have charged 10% more. They were definitely cheap.
Gas has gone up 50% since the war.
Spirit was already in trouble before oil prices changed.
Right. As you stated before, it was cheap and you got what you paid for. That may change.
Costs me $250 to fill my RV and it used to be $150.

Nope, that’s Coral Princess and as I stood beside her, I called out to some people on their balconies and asked where they were headed. They were just back from Alaska and were about to head to Seattle. That ship is gone by now and a new ship is in that berth.
I cruised from Seattle to Alaska in 2012. It is still the best vacation of my life.

You’re too young for cruises. I told Isa we’re going to start taking cruises when we can’t walk around strange cities anymore.
I never liked cities. Too much man-made stuff. I like man-made stuff if nature is included. More green and more water would be nice.

No one I knew ever had a bad cruise. Huntavirus killing ppl on cruise ship in the Atlantic and seen some bad videos of cruises.
