I remember when sanctions against Russia were young. “omg omg omg they’re kicking Russia off SWIFT omg omg omg”. I wondered along with hundreds of millions of others how Russia could possibly survive this. They didn’t even flinch. Just nothing. Today, they kicked SWIFT out of Russia, permanently. Sanctions have done nothing.
