Before Jesus died He said, “I thirst”. Not because he wanted a drink of plain water. From birth to death, he hungered and thirsted for righteousness in the presence of God. How do I know this? Because I have the mind of Christ. He was not crying out to man for a drink. At His weakest point, He cried out to God what was in the deepest part of His soul from birth. To stand humbly in the presence of His Father.
