Agreed. I’m glad I don’t have an electric car. Could you imagine trying to sell a car that takes 3 days to charge when you could buy one that takes 10 minutes. ---

So, the car is in interesting shape. I went out there today with my new tools in the backpack. The front lower lip spoiler has detached on one side and is dragging on the ground. I should be able to tuck it under the hood and drive it like that at least to the dealer. The car had enough juice for my key fob to open it to my surprise, but not enough to start. The little portable starter had enough juice to start it. Once. Not twice. It started and sounded fine. The tires didn’t need to be pumped to my amazement. They looked fine. I’ll keep the air gun in case I need it but it doesn’t look like I will. I stopped it, walked over to the insurance place, bought insurance and went back to the car and it wouldn’t start at all, with or without the jump starter I had bought. Tomorrow, I go back out there and try again (having recharged the jump starter). I just need to make it to the dealer. Fingers crossed. The condo is effectively destroyed. Depressing. I hope insurance covers this without too huge a financial hit. ---

Fight for what matters. Getting to that dealer is the most important thing in your life right now.
