Seems several people have difficulty sobering up. It seems they are so inebriated they are actually trying to put the burden off on anyone or thing they can.

I had no idea how much sugar was used in producing some alcohols. Also how much sugar is added to some alcohol and cocktails. Also there are such things as alcohol sugars. I don’t think those are calculated in when added. For instance 80 proof whatever is a 40 proof 1:1 cocktail. But the sugars from whatever syrup or sugar mix that are alcohol sugars might bring it up or have an intensifying effect.
Actually it is sugar alcohols. That might be adding the effect greater than calculated proof.
A 6 ounce rum and coke with 2 ounces 80 proof rum should be overall should be what overall in percent?
13.3%?
What if you add that 80 proof in rum or vodka to a sugar alcohol?
So I’ve been on a Mule bender lately. Kentucky Mules, not a Moscow. Only because I don’t know of any vodka I’d really be able to drink without getting right toasted. I fill a mule mug with ice, use half a lime squeezed with 2 oz of Bulliet aged 10 years with a couple dashes of bitters and top with ginger beer. Garnished with mint of course. Before it had a kick but lately it’s like drinking juice for me lol

I like mules too. Probably my favorite drink. I made a cranberry mule on American Thanksgiving which was way too sweet. Trader joes ginger beer is way too sweet. Normally I really like them.
