Yes, indeed, I don’t mind non-german songs being played in german events. But first, the US event was a rather provocative 180° u-turn to all prior events of that kind. Likely as a reaction to the extradition policy of mainly South Americans and for this not comparable to german radio shows or events having also english singing artists. Total different reasoning. Second, if german citizens with minority background would only talk in turkish or arabic after ending their song, then I voluntarily offer them a one direction ride to their country. Which obviously isn’t Germany.

Go listen to some Springsteen. At some event in Germany. And then complain when he speaks English after his song. lol.

Because you don’t get it. Bad Bunny lives in the US and also speaks english beside spanish. To decide to only speak in spanish was pure provocation. Good for marketing and his bank account, I give him that. Also the NFL organizers can announce mission accomplished (they also focused on the spanish speaking market to fill their bank account with more money).
As a side effect, this also accomplished to create an even deeper division between spanish speaking immigrants and english speaking US citizens. Congrats.

Shania Twain moved to Switzerland ages ago and still speaks totally crappy French (and no German or Italian or Romansh). She hasn’t bothered to learn French well. If she played her admittedly horrible music at an event in Switzerland, and sang only in English, and talked afterwards in English, you wouldn’t care. But this guy is somehow bad.
