The halftime show was a joke. What country would want their entertainment to be in a different language? People act like we have no reason to be upset or irritated by that. Do you think Canadians would be okay with their events in French? Or do you think the French would be okay with their entertainment in Chinese? It was insulting and sent a clear message that English speaking white people have no say in our own country.

French has been an official language of Canada since this nation was first formed two centuries ago. And yes, we’re ok with our events in French. lol. We’re also ok with them in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Punjabi. Or Cree, Inuktitut, Ojibwe, Dene Suline, and Mi’kmaq. We are not insecure, Michele. We are not threatened by other cultures.

That song is our national anthem. At about the halfway mark, she switches to English.

I liked that Bad Bunny mentioned Canada. I am a fan of the music of Kid Rock but no one IRL or online I know watched the alternative SB coverage. What another lame idea by Trump. SB halftime entertainment was not up to par. Glad Seahawks won.
Francais and Anglais are both official languages here. I had no problem with the half time show but found it below par.
