1 starbucks ceo
I prefer Tim Hortons. I pay about $1.40 USD per day for it. They pay their employees $18/hour on average and have no profit issues. Almost all their employees are brown as white Canadians don’t want those jobs.
I do not care at all about Starbucks’ business other than requiring them to treat their employees decently and fairly. If that means they have to raise prices or cut executive salaries or both, I don’t care at all.
I don’t drink coffee.
That was awful. We are supposed to be knit together in love. One mind in Christ. He’s creating division within the Church. Condemning those who are against abortion and homosexuality, which God has condemned as abominations, while advocating for the right to abort and openly practice homosexuality. He’s advocating for things that are completely contrary to the Word so I can see how you’re drawn to his message.
naturally you would not like this guy; he encourages inclusiveness, equality, democracy, love and forgiveness which indeed goes against the believes of trump and his fake christians lol
ps opening your sermon with “top reasons beer is better than religion” is brilliant lol
I don’t even know the guy to judge him as unlikable.
Was he encouraging those things in Christian nationalists?
True, we are against claims of inclusiveness that don’t include us.
Thé Timmies by Guildford Mall is good . So is the one by Shoppers Drug Mart on KGH by 72 Ave. The one in Hope BC is utter garbage. Wrong orders, cold food, they throw their garbage in the lot next door and employees scream their support for Modi govt loudly.
You can totally eliminate wrong orders by using the app. I haven’t talked to a human at Tim’s for years.

Beliefs about whether God is “against” abortion vary widely across religions, denominations, and individual faith traditions. There is no single universal religious answer—instead there are multiple theological interpretations.
Below is an overview to help you understand the range of views:
1. Christianity
a. Catholic Church
-
Officially teaches that life begins at conception.
-
Abortion is considered morally wrong in almost all circumstances.
-
This view is grounded in the belief that every human life is sacred.
b. Protestant Denominations
Views vary:
-
Evangelical / conservative churches: Generally oppose abortion, often citing Psalm 139 (“you knit me together in my mother’s womb”).
-
Mainline Protestant churches (e.g., Methodist, Episcopal, UCC): More diverse views. Some allow abortion as a morally permissible choice in cases like danger to the mother, rape, or severe fetal anomalies.
c. Eastern Orthodoxy
- Similar to Catholicism: broadly opposes abortion but applies pastoral discretion in difficult cases.
2. Judaism
Judaism does not teach that life begins at conception in the same way some Christian groups do.
-
The mother’s life takes precedence over the fetus’s life.
-
Abortion is allowed—and sometimes required—when the pregnancy endangers the mother physically or psychologically.
-
Views vary across Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform branches, but none frame abortion as murder at conception.
3. Islam
-
Many Islamic scholars hold that “ensoulment” occurs at 120 days (some say 40 days).
-
Before ensoulment, abortion may be permitted for valid reasons (e.g., threats to the mother’s health).
-
After ensoulment, it is generally prohibited except when the mother’s life is at risk.
4. Hinduism
-
Generally discourages abortion because of the principle of ahimsa (non-harm).
-
However, perspectives vary, and practical compassion is often emphasized depending on circumstances.
5. Other faiths
-
Buddhism: Typically sees abortion as taking life but emphasizes intention and compassion; moral judgment depends on the situation.
-
Sikhism: Generally opposes abortion but allows exceptions when the mother’s life is threatened.
-
Secular / Spiritual but not religious: Views are highly individual.
Summary
There is no uniform religious answer to whether “God is against abortion.”
It depends entirely on:
-
your religious tradition,
-
how that tradition interprets scripture,
-
and your personal theological beliefs.
If you want, I can also explain:
-
What the Bible, Quran, or other scriptures specifically say (and don’t say) about abortion
-
The philosophical / ethical arguments within religions
-
What a particular denomination teaches
Just tell me which angle you’d like.
He is probably against abortion, but understands others are not. That’s most likely the case.
yes
from what i understand you are included, he just prefers if you and your group decide to start following the teachings of his and your christ again
i was curious about this so searched and found this clip: nope he is pro choice especially when it involves rape but understands others are against abortion
he is even claiming there is evidence that the bible is pro abortion! :
I can’t even get to the end of this video. The more I hear the sicker I get. This man is so twisted nobody should be giving him time.
He used Jesus’ encounter with woman at the well to justify abortion when the encounter was to demonstrate that he knew the woman and that she had 5 husbands. How that equates with pro-abortion is really beyond me.
He also stated that the angel asked Mary for permission. I’ll go find the scripture but I’m certain he did no such thing. The Angel Gabriel is a messenger.
Seems like there were other things he said that I wanted to comment on but I forget. The important point here is that man, regardless how well schooled he is, does not know what he’s talking about.
Oh, his use of the Breath of God into Adam as the beginning of life but then later stating a baby is definitely alive in the womb was disturbing. If the baby is, in fact, alive in the womb, life begins at conception. His contradictions and misleading of scripture to justify abominations is terrifying to me.
interesting, maybe that sickness you are feeling is you being healed? lol
he seems quite knowledgeable on the bible, firm in his belief and yet humble in the way he brings forth his ideas and seems open to other opinions like yours or mine… quite refreshing!
He said the angel asked permission.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luke 1:31 KJV
How refreshing is it to mislead his audience??
and yet its written there:
Yes, in Luke 1:26-38, the angel Gabriel’s announcement to Mary is understood as a divine invitation or proposal for her to become the mother of Jesus, not a demand; Mary’s response, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word,” signifies her free and willing consent to God’s plan, making her participation a key part of the Incarnation story
You can call it an invitation. I call it revelation.
