First, have you taken a good look at the poor in America? They aren’t going to starve. They can live on their own fat for months.
Also, in fairness, there are food banks and in every town is a church taking donations to feed the poor.
Lastly, as a reminder, before 2021, there were 17 million Americans on SNAP benefits. By 2024, there were over 41 million sucking on the teet of American society. More than half are receiving those benefits illegally.
