Yes America thanks for blasting Hiroshima and Nagasaki with a bombs and ending WW2.
dont sell yourself short, without canada providing the materials and research usa would not have been able to do that…
Uranium City, Saskatchewan used to know some people from there.
You’re welcome. Ever helpful.
starve the poor while you party with the rich…
First, have you taken a good look at the poor in America? They aren’t going to starve. They can live on their own fat for months.
Also, in fairness, there are food banks and in every town is a church taking donations to feed the poor.
Lastly, as a reminder, before 2021, there were 17 million Americans on SNAP benefits. By 2024, there were over 41 million sucking on the teet of American society. More than half are receiving those benefits illegally.
doesnt your christian teachings tell you to “do not judge or you too will be judged” ?
to me thats both shameful and nice, but i dont see how it is relevant unless you think its also ok for your government to suddenly stop your earnings so you can go to a food bank?
that sounds like one of trumps made-up claims, my ai buddy tells me only a very small percentage fraudulently claims snap
do you have any evidence that half were receiving those benefits illegally?
ps:
Here are updated figures and comparisons for the U.S. in 2025:
1. Spending on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
-
For fiscal year 2024, SNAP federal spending was about $99.8 billion, serving ~41.7 million people per month. Economic Research Service+1
-
For FY 2025, there isn’t a final exact number yet, but projections: the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) baseline indicates participation around 42.5 million people and benefits per person modestly rising. Factually+1
-
One document indicates that across 10 years (FY2025-FY2034) SNAP is projected at about $1.15 trillion wholesale (i.e., roughly ~$115 billion/year on average). Senate Agriculture Committee+1
Bottom line: For FY2025 the best estimate is that SNAP spending is likely in the ballpark of $100-120 billion, though the exact number is yet to be finalized.
2. Tax expenditures (benefits/“grants” via the tax code) to higher-income households
-
For FY2024, total tax expenditures (i.e., revenue losses from breaks, deductions, preferential rates) are estimated at about $1.737 trillion. Congress.gov+2Peterson Foundation+2
-
The largest individual tax expenditure categories include favorable rates on dividends and capital gains, tax-preferred retirement accounts, etc. Peterson Foundation+1
Interpretation: These tax expenditures are not all going to “rich people” exclusively, but many of the larger ones disproportionately benefit higher-income individuals (e.g., capital gains preferential rates). The overall magnitude (~$1.7 trillion) far exceeds the ~$100 billion or so for SNAP.
3. Comparison & Conclusion
-
SNAP spending (≈ $100-120 billion) is much smaller than the total tax breaks/expenditures (~$1.7 trillion) in 2024/2025.
-
So: No — the amount spent on SNAP is not higher than the money granted (via tax expenditures) to higher-income households/through the tax code.
I’ve been judged and I’ll publicly judge myself. I am fat and I can assure you, I’ll live until I die but I’ll never starve.
Why? What would you like for me to be ashamed of?
I don’t see how how that’s relevant. In America, you don’t need to worry about the government stopping your earnings so you can go to the food bank. Your employer will happily do the same.
Nope and I don’t care if you believe it or not. I believe it and that’s all that matters to me.
nothing at all thats your business… i find it sad that its apparently necessary that you have “food banks in every town” while at the same time also finding it nice that they are there for those that need it
didnt you look at the clip i posted? thats exactly what your government is doing; stopping the income of millions…
its relevant because its about a government stopping peoples income
lol yes am sure my employer would love not paying me, but that would be against the law; here laws apply equally to all under equal circumstances (article 1 of our constitution), unlike in your country
uh huh lol it must be nice to live in your own reality
Turkeys are up 75% compared to last year.
Do you think the secretary of HHS should be required to have a medical degree?

My slop bowl order goes.
Playa Bowls - go once a week
Pressed Cafe (only in Massachusetts and New Hampshire) - maybe twice a month
Sweetgreens - once a month before chess
Cava - once a month
Chipotle is the nastiest place on earth to eat. I wouldn’t feed my rabid dog that crap. There food is memorable and shareable, but only with warning the quality is low grade slop.
Thanks for posting. American media barely mentioned this. I would have booed. He is a disgrace to the constitution and fouls the spirit of it. Hope some of the booers said the pledge in the parking lot afterwards or at home or work.
Your posts foul the spirit of humor.
It’s going to be humiliating if their demands to release all the files backfires.
“Trump a dirty guy who has done dirty things.” What a joke. The most wholesome family man in America lol.
guesso, if you consider a guy playing with little girls a “family man”
i think its very sad that you still defend someone that chooses to protect his fellow “wholeseome family men” and hasnt kept his promise so far to release all the epstein files
I think it’s sad that you entertain such nonsense but I’m content with Congress releasing the files in drip mode. It allows me to absorb the players and details while the Democratic Party weaves their web of deceit around their Trump Perversion Hoax and I find it difficult to believe all 20,000 pages of this first drop will testify against Trump.
