Agreed. So are all conservatives, in both Canada and the US. Mulroney tripled Trudeau Sr’s deficit. Harper took Paul Martin’s balanced budget and ran huge deficits for his entire term until the last year. Reagan more than doubled Carter’s deficit. Both Bushes ran huge deficits. Trump is the worst, but all conservatives just talk about balanced budgets and then spend like drunken sailors at a brothel.
NDP in BC have horrible numbers on the deficit and debt. Mulroney had a 47 billion dollar deficit the worst in Canadian history up to then with lots of scandals in his govt.
Mulroney died saw his funeral on TV Thé church was barely 2/3rds full. John Horgan lost his third fight with cancer he balanced the budget in BC grew up raised by a single Mom worked in a pulp mill and as a social worker. His funeral got 6 times more ppl than Mulroney who once sang with Ronald Reagan. I like that! Mulroney was a lying crook Lyin Brian. As a child he would sing for his Dad’s boss the richest man in town. Mulroney also took a cash bribe from Karl Hans Schreiber a German citizen eventually jailed in his country. It was front page news. He never spent a day in jail. Good riddance to that man who appointed his personal fave restaurant chef to the CDN Senate.

I’m a future commie. Capitalism has done well for the human race up to this point, and I have done well under capitalism. We about to go to the next phase in our existence, where human work is worthless. Capitalism can’t survive that.
